The Scottish Pottery Society exists to promote the wares of Scottish potteries, focusing on industrial potteries, which operated from the mid 18th century until around the mid 20th Century.  This page lists the majority of the manufacturers operating in Scotland during this time.  The information contained in each page comes primarily from the Society’s research: SPHRs and Bulletins.  These overviews are by no means comprehensive, and they are intended to offer a small glimpse at each pottery.  Full access to publications, research and archives is available to members of SPS.
